BROOKE BOGGAN-I began dance at TexArts from the ages of 2-5 where I was a twinkle star, had a jazz class and took ballet. I took a a few years off from dance to compete in swimming. But I always missed attending TexArts and went back when I was 9 and enrolled in jazz and theater. I was in many productions, such as Mary Poppins, Loin King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and many weekly camps. While at TexArts, I enrolled in their Triple Treat Program, called T-3. The program consisted of weekly classes such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, technique, tap, acting, and voice. During the summer of 2020 I started taking classes at Body Lab where I fell in love with all styles of dance, especially jazz. I took a year of classes and realized I wanted to learn a solo and compete. I joined BLPA the following year. During my first competition I earned a Ruby at Spotlight and 7th overall at Showcase. During my second year of competition, I earned 1st place at Talent on Parade, 4th at Spotlight and 4th at ADTS. Over the last few years, I have token many different styles of dance and have enrolled in advanced classes. I also joined Kick Lab and learned to compete with a team. In my spare time I love to go to the beach and listen to the waves. I am very determined to do my best at everything I do. I love teaching and choreographing my own dances. I am so excited to get this opportunity to try to be an intern at Body Lab!
