Sydney James grew up training at the Dance Institute in Austin, Texas where she gained much experience from top teachers and choreographers such as Francisco Gella, DJ Smart, and The Bad Boys of Dance with Rasta Thomas. Sydney earned the coveted 1st place title at NAACP ACT-SO Competition where she worked with Anthony Burrell for three consecutive years. In addition, Sydney attended intensives with the Alvin Ailey School of Dance, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Alonso King LINES Ballet. After graduation, she went on to complete two years at Pace University in New York as a commercial dance major. FUN FACT: Sydney trained under Mrs Heather at her first studio and was a reindeer in her traditional Christmas show opener. She also danced along side of Mrs Kennedy as a reindeer.
