Born and raised in New York, Charis Schultz grew up training as a competitive dancer, gymnast, and tumbler. Her love for movement began at a young age and naturally evolved into teaching, where she started as an assistant instructor before eventually taking on her own classes and choreography. She attended the State University of New York while continuing to pursue her passion for dance, athletics, and education.
Today, Charis brings years of experience both as a student and instructor into the classroom. Most recently, she taught tap, ballet, and acro to students of various ages and skill levels. As a former NASM Certified Personal Trainer, she values the role that strength, body awareness, and proper technique play in a dancer’s development and strives to help students build confidence both in their abilities and in themselves.
