Bio

Alison comes to Body Lab as an Instructor in many styles and is our new Kick Lab Company Director. Her training includes all genres, but found a love for Drill Team having grown up in Lakeway and becoming a part of the award winning Lake Travis Cavalettes. She danced as a Cavalette for 4 years and was selected as an officer for 2 years. Upon graduation, she danced for the University of Texas, San Antonio and was also selected as a Texas State Strutter. She was selected as an All American dancer and was invited to perform in the Florida Citrus Bowl. After graduating from college, she pursued dancing professionally auditioning for the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and making the final cut to the Bally Total Fitness Dance Team in Dallas, TX. She has choreographed for Broadway Dance & Fitness, UTSA, 620 Dance Centre, and the Miss Austin pageant, to name a few. She has been a part of numerous conventions and competitions traveling throughout Texas, Louisiana, California, Las Vegas and New York City and participated in the Austin’s Chuy’s Christmas parade and the Zilker Park Broadway Christmas Spectacular.



Alison previously taught for Heather O’Hara at Broadway Dance & Fitness. She assisted Heather’s competition company while teaching Jazz and Drill team classes. She eventually founded Kick Company; a company designed for middle and high school girls looking to gain experience in performance and competition for their respective dance team auditions. Alison has taught Lake Travis, Cedar Park and Vandegrift students for nearly 15 years. She has judged for dance and cheer in San Antonio as well as for the Lake Travis ISD Middle School and High School team and officer auditions. Additional teaching includes studios in San Antonio as well as preschool gymnastics in Austin.



Alison has 3 daughters; one who is a competitive gymnast and one who shares her love of dance. She is excited to bring her experience to Body Lab!
