Bio

Caitlin is a Texas native and has danced and performed since she was 3, beginning her movement journey at AcroTex Gymnastics in Georgetown, TX. After moving to Lakeway in 2004, Caitlin transitioned to dance, performing with the Hudson Bend Middle School Pom Squad, Lake Travis High School Cavalettes (Sophomore Social Officer & Senior 1st Lieutenant), LTHS Band Dance Auxiliary (Section Leader and feat. soloist for “The Silk Road”), and the LTHS Varsity Choir. She received dance training from Michelle McGlamery Webb, Hannah Brightwell, Heather O’Hara, and Cinnamon Barton & vocal training from Mark Groutas, Kelan Latimer, and Ross Tyler. Postgrad, Caitlin performed with the Hardin-Simmons University Spurs Dancers and founded the Aspermont Dance Academy (2012-2017) in Abilene, TX.

Caitlin received awards as a Cavalette, including team titles: Freshman of the Year (08-09), Miss High Kick of the Year (09-10 & 11-12), Miss High Kick of the Week (09-12), and Miss High Kick of the Season (08-09). Caitlin also competed in more than ten “Miss High Kick” competitions for HTE Dance and American Dance & Drill Team from 2008-2012, earning 1st or 2nd place. She competed solos for Cavalettes, choreographed by Hannah Brightwell, placing in the top ten, and eventually as 1st runner-up, during the 2011 & 2012 contest seasons. Caitlin has performed at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium, Cowboy Stadium (AT&T), Bass Concert Hall, Tournament of Roses Parade, and Downtown Disney as a Cavalette.

Caitlin has taught dance in central Texas since 2012, training students in Jazz, Pom/Cheer, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Drill Team Technique. She emphasizes performance and showmanship in class, helping her dancers to showcase joy through their movement and technique.

Caitlin continues her creative endeavors outside the studio in her love of creating and serving food to family & friends, holiday decorating, and worship arts. She also loves Lake Austin, Black Swan Yoga, and the Willow City Loop wildflowers.
