Following my 2nd year, I proceeded to expand my knowledge within different genres of dance including jazz, contemporary, ballet, pointe, tap, musical theater and modern. Summer of 2019, I attended the summer intensive at Joffrey Texas. Going into Freshman year, year of 2020, I joined my high school’s marching band and stopped competing. In the summer of 2021 I began taking classes at BodyLab and joined my high school dance team, Silver Stars. Since then I have been a member of both Silver Stars and BodyLab and I’m extremely excited to continue my dance journey with my new BLPA family!

LTHS Red Ruby
I have been dancing since I was 2 years old. I started competing at the age of 4. Dance has always been the best way to express myself. At times it has been hard for me to talk to new people. With dance I have always been able to do it whether I knew anyone or not. I have come a long way in dance. While I have not always been the strongest in the class, I am always pushing myself to be better. I love creating choreography. In school when we have had talent shows and when my little sister has been in talent shows I have always made up our dances for us to perform. While I have a very long way to go I look forward to the opportunities to learn from my Body Lab Teachers. Being an junior intern this year has been a great experience. I feel that I have been able to help the younger dancers by not only assisting in classes, but also by showing by example, and making them feel like family. Outside of dance I am an active member at Emmaus Catholic Church, NCL, and the Youth Leadership Council. I look forward to continuing to dance at Body Lab and would be honored to be an intern
